Course Description: The purpose of developing this course is to: 1) create materials that increase visibility of GYTS data, and 2) improve capacity of users to analyze GYTS data, thereby increasing users' ability to monitor tobacco use and use GYTS data to help inform development of tobacco control policies and programs.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this enduring activity is to: 1) create materials that increase visibility of GYTS data, and 2) improve capacity of users to analyze GYTS data, thereby increasing users’ ability to monitor tobacco use and use GYTS data to help inform development of tobacco control policies and programs.

  2. Describe the elements of an analysis plan using GYTS data.
  3. Practice the process of accessing a GYTS dataset.
  4. Identify the statistical software code that can be used to analyze GYTS datasets.
